Do you suffer from the 'Never Enough' Syndrome?

I hear this almost every day from smart, successful people feeling like they’re just ‘not good enough’!

Thin enough is the most common, but I also hear …
not smart enough
not educated enough
not enough money
not attractive enough
I could go on and on!

For some people, no matter what or where they are… it’s ‘not enough’!

Most of us have a deep hunger for a sense of being enough, having enough.

And that appetite will never be satisfied with food or education or money or anything else.

So many people go after what they think will make them happy, only to be disappointed when they get it, because ……. yes you’ve guessed it …..

It’s still not enough!

We set ourselves up with a fantasy … I call it the ‘if only’ syndrome.
If only …… I was thinner/taller
If only …… I had a better job
If only …… I was in a great relationship
If only …… I could get out of my relationship
If only …… I was living somewhere different
If only …… I was better looking
If only …… I had a family
the list goes on and on!

Isn’t it sad that people define their lives by what they ‘can’t be’ and ‘don’t have’?

This is not a gender issue — it’s a human issue. (and you wouldn’t like it if anyone judged you the way you judge yourself!!)

What’s missing is a sense of being OK …AS IS!

There seems to be an elusive ‘searching’ for whatever is going to make a person feel valued, special, important, happy … a feeling for completeness.

And we keep thinking that it can be found out there, somewhere, somehow – the right book, program, class, parent, teacher ……… (I know you know what I’m talking about!)

This is a subject that I am very passionate about, as I had to work through it myself, so if I can be of any help at all in helping you, or anyone you know, young or old, be more at peace with themselves, for who they are, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
