Would you like to make this your best holiday ever?

Sometimes holidays involve family, and sometimes we
only see what’s wrong with our families, and the differences
we have.

We fail to look at all the positives.

We see the way our parents or siblings cling to ideas
we don’t believe, or act in ways we try not to act.
We see how different we all are, and focus on the differences.

But really, we are all the same! We are all human.
We all feel pain, joy, anger, sadness, frustration
but sometimes we think it’s only us!

Maybe we need to acknowledge the similarities,
and not just the differences and maybe then we
can begin to see that we are perfectly capable of
accepting and relating to people who, on the
surface, may seem very different from us.

This awareness has prevented us from connecting
from people, especially those close to us.

So, as the holidays come around, why not make
peace with family and accept them for not being
perfect, just as you want them to accept you.

Then you have an opportunity to create peace and
harmony in your life.
